The Radio Academy has officially announced the nominees for the 2025 Audio & Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS), highlighting the best in UK audio and radio talent. The prestigious ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 14th May at the ODEON Luxe in Leicester Square, marking a new venue for the industry's premier celebration.

The nominees party, hosted at News UK, featured talkSPORT presenters Natalie Sawyer and Jim White, with special appearances from previous host Romesh Ranganathan and past winners Scott Mills and National Prison Radio's Lady Unchained. Together, they unveiled the impressive lineup of 169 nominees across 21 award categories.

This year introduces a significant new category, 'Audio Brand of the Year,' with nominees including Goalhanger Podcasts, Tortoise Media, Apple Music Radio, BBC Sounds, Rayo, and Yoto. Other notable nominations include Greatest Hits Radio for UK Radio Station of the Year, Help I Sexted My Boss for Best Comedy Award, and The Louis Theroux Podcast for Best Speech Entertainment Award. Additional high-profile nominees include Hits Radio with Gemma Atkinson & Mike Toolan for Best Music Entertainment, BBC Radio 1 with Greg James for Best Music Breakfast Radio Show, and Apple Music Radio's Classical Connections with Alexis Ffrench for Best Music Award.
